This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will take place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, marking the beginning of the road to Survivor Series WarGames 2024. Scheduled for November 30 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, Survivor Series will be WWE’s final Pay-Per-View event of the year. Similar to last week’s SmackDown episode, Raw will focus on building storylines that will culminate at Survivor Series.
The November 11 episode of Raw will feature numerous top stars from the Red brand, including Gunther, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, Damian Priest, Liv Morgan, The New Day, and Bianca Belair.
In the main event storyline, former Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest secured his shot at the World Heavyweight Title by triumphing over Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, and Sheamus in a Fatal-4-Way match on the previous Red brand episode. This victory guarantees Priest a face-off against the reigning champion, Gunther, known as ‘The Ring General’. The two titans are set to clash on November 11, as announced last week. Priest, who lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther at SummerSlam 2024 due to a betrayal by his Judgment Day stablemate, Finn Balor, is now seeking redemption and a chance to reclaim the title.
In the women’s division, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will defend their titles against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This matchup depends on Ripley’s injury status, as Mami is currently sidelined for the second time since April. Morgan and Rodriguez have been eyeing Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, especially after preventing them from winning the battle royal to determine the No.1 contender for the Women’s World Championship last week. Additionally, IYO Sky earned a shot at Morgan’s title by winning the battle royal.
Last week, tensions flared when Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill confronted Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, leading to Belair slapping Morgan. During the battle royal to find the No.1 contender for Morgan’s title, Morgan and Rodriguez interfered, resulting in a double elimination that cost Cargill and Belair their opportunity to become top contenders.
Adding to the drama, ‘Big’ Bronson Reed is set to make an appearance on this week’s Raw. Following his brutal attack on Damian Priest, Sheamus, and Seth Rollins during the Fatal 4-Way World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contenders Match last week, Reed’s presence is highly anticipated. Reed is currently embroiled in a fierce feud with Seth Rollins, whom he clashed with at the Crown Jewel PLE. Although Rollins emerged victorious in Saudi Arabia, Reed remains determined to settle the score.
