The November 22, 2024, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will broadcast live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, home of the Utah Jazz. This week’s edition of the Blue Brand promises to build on last week’s dramatic developments with exciting matches and key segments on the road to Survivor Series.
Cody Rhodes, The American Nightmare, set the tone last week with a bold address directed at Kevin Owens. Rhodes accused Owens of crossing the line and demanded a face-to-face confrontation. Owens, however, was barred from entering the arena in Wisconsin. Later in the show, a pre-recorded video from Owens revealed that SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis personally invited him to appear in Salt Lake City. This week, Owens and the Undisputed WWE Champion will finally meet face-to-face, promising an explosive confrontation.
In a historic move, WWE has introduced the Women’s United States Championship. The inaugural champion will be crowned through a tournament, which began last week when Bayley emerged victorious in a triple-threat match against Candice LeRae and B-Fab. Bayley’s win advanced her to the semi-finals. This week, the tournament continues with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair set to face Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport in another high-stakes triple-threat match. The winner will secure their place in the semi-finals, bringing us one step closer to history.
