The November 26 edition of WWE NXT will air live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, as the road to the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event heats up. With the event just around the corner, this week’s episode continues to build storylines and rivalries leading into the PLE.
A major highlight of the card is Tony D’Angelo defending his NXT North American Championship against Shawn Spears. This showdown was set up during the November 19 episode when D’Angelo defeated Brooks Jensen, only to be ambushed by Jensen after a distraction from Spears. Meanwhile, Fallon Henley, the reigning NXT Women’s North American Champion, is set to make her second title defense against Tatum Paxley. The match was announced after Paxley picked up a decisive victory over Henley in a non-title bout last week, punctuated by her posing with Henley’s championship belt after delivering her finisher.
Tensions are running high in the women’s division as Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyz, and Fallon Henley) crossed paths with Meta Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson during a promo session. The heated exchange led to chaos at ringside, with challengers Nikkita Lyons and Adrianna Rizzo entering the fray. Amid the brawl, Paxley emerged victorious in staking her claim for the title shot, setting the stage for her match against Henley this week.
The 2024 Iron Survivor Challenge continues to take shape, with several competitors already qualified. Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, and Nathan Frazer have secured spots in the men’s match, while Sol Ruca, Stephanie Vaquer, and Zaria are set for the women’s bout. This week, Ethan Page and Axiom will battle for a place in the men’s match, while Kelani Jordan and Giulia face off for a spot in the women’s event.
