AEW All In 2024 is set to be a monumental pay-per-view event, taking place on August 25, 2024, at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, UK. The event will kick off at 2 PM ET, with a pre-show starting at 12 PM ET. Headlining the show will be an AEW World Championship match between Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson. Danielson earned his shot at the title by winning the 2024 Men’s Owen Hart Cup. Having announced in 2023 that he would retire from full-time wrestling when his contract expires in mid-2024, Danielson faced a series of high-profile losses at various PPVs. Declaring his intention to “go out on top,” Danielson announced that if he fails to defeat Strickland at All In, he will retire from wrestling entirely. This added a Title vs. Career stipulation to the match, making it one of the most anticipated bouts of the year. Strickland, whose character has evolved with a mix of arrogance and vulnerability, is expected to put up a fierce fight. However, with Danielson’s career on the line, many believe he will emerge victorious to cap off his illustrious career.
All In 2023, held at Wembley Stadium, marked a significant milestone for AEW, leading the promotion to announce its return to the same venue for All In 2024. The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament also returned in 2024 for both the men’s and women’s divisions. AEW President Tony Khan and Martha Hart revealed during Double or Nothing 2024 that the winners of these tournaments would earn title shots—men’s for the AEW World Championship and women’s for the AEW Women’s Championship.
On the Zero Hour pre-show, Willow Nightingale will team up with Tomohiro Ishii to face Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway in a mixed tag team match. Speculation suggests that Nightingale and Ishii will win, allowing them to choose the stipulation for the Nightingale vs. Statlander match at All Out. Chris Jericho is set to defend his FTW Championship against Hook in a singles match. According to the stipulation, if Hook loses, he won’t be able to challenge for the FTW Championship again until Jericho loses the title. Rumors indicate that Jericho might retain his title with help from The Learning Tree.
Additionally, The Patriarchy will defend their AEW World Trios Championship in a Fatal 4-Way London Ladder Match against the House of Black, Bang Bang Gang, and the Wild Card winners. The speculation points to The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) retaining their titles by climbing the ladder to victory.
