The AEW Collision episode of June 22, 2024, promises exciting matches and continues the build-up for the Forbidden Door 2024 PPV. Kazuchika Okada is set to face Ultimo Guerrero in a Continental Title Eliminator match, where a victory for Guerrero will earn him a future title shot, as mandated by AEW President Tony Khan. Additionally, Will Ospreay will defend the AEW International Title against Brian Cage, a match set up after Ospreay saved Daniel Garcia from Cage’s attack last week.
In other action, the new faction of Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata will take on the Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, and Josh Woods) in a trios match. This follows Joe and HOOK’s victory over Nese and Daivari in a tag team match last week. Lastly, Private Party will face The Learning Tree’s Chris Jericho and Big Bill in a tag team match, continuing the storyline from Dynamite where Private Party tricked Jericho into an attack after he criticized them.
