The AEW Dynamite episode on July 10, 2024, will be live from Calgary, Canada, featuring the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. In the men’s final, Bryan Danielson will face Hangman Page, while Willow Nightingale will take on Mariah May in the women’s final. These matches hold special significance as they take place in Owen Hart’s hometown of Calgary.
The men’s final showcases two highly motivated wrestlers: Bryan Danielson, who is chasing the AEW World Championship, and Hangman Adam Page, who seeks another shot at Swerve Strickland after their long-standing rivalry earlier this year. The women’s final is equally intriguing. Mariah May has a chance to earn a title shot against her mentor, Toni Storm, in their hometown, a prospect Storm might not be thrilled about. Meanwhile, Willow Nightingale, who defeated Kris Statlander in the semifinal, has her own ongoing rivalry to settle.
AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland will make his return to Dynamite after a week’s absence, awaiting the outcome of the Owen’s final to find his challenger for All In. Additionally, Will Ospreay is expected to address MJF’s recent attack on Daniel Garcia. The show will also feature a global fatal 4-way match with Claudio Castagnoli, Kyle Fletcher, PAC, and Tomohiro Ishii, though any stakes for the match have not been announced yet.
