The December 25, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite will be broadcast live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Toni Storm will make her much-anticipated in-ring return after losing her memory following a devastating loss to Mariah May. In a backstage segment, Storm introduced herself to Valkyrie and Deonna Purrazzo, setting the stage for a heated encounter. Valkyrie added fuel to the fire by vowing to make Storm forget everything once again.
The Gold League competition intensifies as pivotal matches determine who advances. Darby Allin faces Ricochet, Will Ospreay squares off against Brody King, and Claudio Castagnoli takes on Kommander. The results could lead to a four-way tie, making each outcome critical. Ricochet, adapting to AEW with a fresh persona, is on the verge of reaching the semi-finals, while Ospreay, coming off back-to-back losses, seeks redemption.
