Preview:
TNA Against All Odds 2024, a TNA Plus Special event, is scheduled for June 14, 2024, at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, IL. The main card will begin at 8 PM ET and feature Moose defending the TNA World Championship against Matt Hardy.
During the Rebellion 2024 PPV, “The Broken” Matt Hardy interrupted The System’s celebration after Moose retained the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth and Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards retained the Tag Team titles against Speedball Mountain. Following The System’s attack on Nic Nemeth on the subsequent IMPACT episode, Hardy teamed up with Speedball Mountain for a trios match against The System at the Under Siege event but suffered a defeat. Hardy then partnered with Ryan Nemeth to secure a non-title win over Edwards and Myers. Initially, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella planned a tag team title match for Hardy and Nemeth, but Hardy requested a World title shot against Moose. Consequently, Ryan and Nic Nemeth will challenge for the Tag Team titles.
In the X-Division Championship Match, tag team partners Mike Bailey and Trent Seven faced off in a #1 contender’s match. On the May 23 IMPACT episode, Seven emerged victorious after Champagne Singh’s interference and Mustafa Ali’s distraction of the referee. Seven was subsequently announced as the challenger for the X-Division Championship at Against All Odds.
For the Knockouts Championship, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace announced on the May 30, 2024, episode of Busted Open Radio that she would hold an open challenge for her title at the event.
