The October 22, 2024, episode of WWE NXT will be broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The Performance Center, owned by WWE, serves as a training facility for up-and-coming wrestlers, making it the perfect backdrop for the intense action that NXT promises to deliver this week.
In one of the most anticipated matches of the night, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL will square off against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson of Meta-Four. This bout has been brewing since the October 14 episode of WWE RAW, when Jackson and Legend were at ringside during a tag team title match between Damage CTRL and champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. A heated ringside confrontation between Sky, Jackson, and Legend ultimately cost Damage CTRL the match, adding an extra layer of tension to this NXT clash.
Former WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi is set to take on Luca Crusifino. Femi recently lost his title to Tony D’Angelo, ending his impressive 273-day reign and marking his first defeat of the year. Crusifino, a member of The D’Angelo Family, requested this match to send a message to Femi, stating that no one messes with “the family.” Femi, on the other hand, will be looking to get back on the winning track and make a case for another title shot.
Also on the card, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer will face Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley of Fatal Influence. This matchup was made official by NXT General Manager Ava during a backstage segment last week. Vaquer made her in-ring debut against Wren Sinclair on the previous episode, and now she teams up with Giulia in what promises to be an exciting tag team contest.
Additionally, a singles match between Jaida Parker and Tatum Paxley is set to take place. This bout was arranged following a backstage altercation, where Parker interrupted Paxley’s downtime, leading to a decision for the two to settle their differences in the ring.
