The October 29 episode of WWE’s NXT will broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, where future wrestling stars are trained by WWE. With several high-stakes matchups and segments announced, the show promises to be an action-packed night.
NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend their titles this week. After a heated backstage incident, Frazer demanded a title match, a decision that surprised his partner, Axiom. “Fraxiom” will now put their belts on the line against Je’Von Evans and Cedric Alexander, whom they encountered earlier backstage. Frazer initially tried to console Evans after his recent losses to Randy Orton in St. Louis and in a #1 Contender’s match for the NXT Championship last week, but emotions boiled over into a challenge.
In a much-anticipated match, William Regal will accompany Lexis King as he takes on Regal’s own son, Charlie Dempsey, for the Heritage Cup. Regal’s presence adds another layer of intensity to this family face-off, and this showdown is sure to be one of the night’s highlights.
Wendy Choo and Tatum Paxley will clash in a Casket Match after Choo’s recent bizarre antics of placing Paxley in a box on the October 22 episode of NXT. In response, Paxley spun the wheel at Halloween Havoc, setting up the casket stipulation for their bout.
The NXT women’s division continues to grow, with Roxanne Perez and Fallon Henley as champions and now a new addition, Zaria (formerly known as Delta), joining the ranks. Zaria, a standout from the Australian wrestling circuit, will make her in-ring debut on October 29. She previously made waves by appearing at Halloween Havoc, attacking Fatal Influence after Fallon Henley retained her NXT Women’s North American Championship. Her opponent for Tuesday hasn’t been announced, but fans are eager to see her in action.
