The December 31, 2024, episode of WWE NXT marks the final Tuesday night show of the year, set to air live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. With the build-up to NXT New Year’s Evil 2025 intensifying, the Stamford-based promotion has lined up an exciting card featuring key matches and segments to close out the year.
One of the highlighted matches will see former NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan take on former MMA fighter Lola Vice. Their rivalry dates back to January 16, 2024, when they last met in the NXT Women’s Title #1 Contendership match. Fans can expect another intense showdown between these two competitors.
Former NXT Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page will also be in action as he faces Cedric Alexander in what will be their first-ever encounter. Both stars have never crossed paths in their professional wrestling careers, making this match highly anticipated.
The women’s tag division will feature a triple-threat match as Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson of the Meta-Four stable compete against Shotzi and Gigi Dolin, as well as the team of Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. This promises to be a thrilling clash of styles and strategies in the Performance Center ring.
In another bout, Izzi Dame and Sol Ruca will face off in their second meeting. Their first encounter took place on the May 14, 2024, episode of NXT during a Women’s North American Title Qualifying match, where Sol Ruca emerged victorious. With high stakes and personal pride on the line, this rematch will be one to watch.
The six-man tag team match will see Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe go up against Andre Chase, Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger. This will be Andre Chase’s first appearance since the disbanding of Chase U, adding an emotional element to the bout.
Additionally, the NXT 2024 Year-End Awards will be presented during the episode, celebrating the best moments and performers of the year. With a stacked lineup of matches and the awards ceremony, the December 31 episode of NXT promises to end 2024 on a high note.
