The second episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix will air live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, continuing the momentum built from its historic debut on January 6. WWE is laying the foundation for the upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event (PLE), scheduled for February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. As the road to the Royal Rumble intensifies, the Red brand promises another night of thrilling matches and storyline developments.
Four matches have been announced for this week’s episode, including a street fight between Finn Bálor and Damian Priest. Their rivalry, reignited after Priest’s interference cost Bálor and JD McDonagh the World Tag Team titles, will take center stage in what promises to be a brutal showdown. Chad Gable is also set to face a mysterious opponent, handpicked by General Manager Adam Pearce. Gable, the leader of the American Made faction, demanded a match against the toughest luchador Pearce could find, setting the stage for an intriguing encounter.
Additionally, Sheamus will collide with Ludwig Kaiser as both competitors aim for another shot at Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus returned on the final episode of Monday Night Raw in 2024, reigniting his feud with Kaiser following his absence since Survivor Series. Meanwhile, the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament reaches its conclusion as Lyra Valkyria takes on Dakota Kai in the final. Both rising stars earned their spots in the final by defeating Iyo Sky and Zoey Stark, respectively, and will now battle to become the inaugural champion.
The episode will also feature appearances from several top stars. General Manager Adam Pearce has confirmed that CM Punk, the newly crowned WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will be present. Punk, fresh off his victory over Seth Rollins, may set his sights on a new challenger, potentially Gunther. As tensions escalate and rivalries reach boiling points, this week’s Monday Night Raw on Netflix promises to deliver another night of must-see action.
