The July 8, 2024, episode of WWE RAW will address the fallout from Money in the Bank and kick off the four-week build-up to SummerSlam 2024 PLE. CM Punk will be in the spotlight after angering both Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins. Drew McIntyre’s brief stint as the Money in the Bank briefcase holder ended abruptly when he cashed it in during Damian Priest’s World title match against Seth Rollins. CM Punk’s interference cost both McIntyre the title and Rollins a future title shot as long as Priest remains champion. Rollins quickly expressed his displeasure towards Punk, potentially reigniting their rivalry. McIntyre’s reaction was more intense, as he caused chaos post-show, threatened Punk, and even struck RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, leading to his indefinite suspension.
Additionally, Chad Gable and Jey Uso, who had an argument leading up to the Money in the Bank ladder match, will face off in a singles match on RAW. Despite both failing to win the briefcase, their rivalry continues. Four matches have been announced for the show, including the Gable vs. Uso match, a women’s trios match, and a men’s trios match.
