The December 6, 2024, episode of Friday Night SmackDown serves as the fallout show following the Survivor Series: WarGames event, which concluded on November 30 at Rogers Arena. The episode will air live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will feature developments stemming from the intense battles at Survivor Series, including two WarGames matches and three title bouts.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, collectively #DIY, have been entangled in tension due to Ciampa’s frustration over the Motor City Machine Guns’ reluctance to grant them a tag team title shot. Last week, Ciampa gave Gargano an ultimatum: secure the match or he would take matters into his own hands.
